| | 20.-21.01.05 on Leonardo da Vinci conference in Estonia presented Kirke Maar and Dr Jyri Riives the Innomet system. 
 The Estonian Leonardo da Vinci National Agency together with seven National Agencies from the Nordic and Baltic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden) organised a Nordic-Baltic valorisation conference "Integration through Recognition - Innovative ideas, tools and approaches to validation of competencies for Nordic-Baltic and European integration" on January 20-21, 2005, Tallinn, Estonia.
The general aim of the conference was to optimise the impact of innovative project results, which have been developed during the second phase of the Leonardo da Vinci Programme and to encourage the broadening of the impact of transparency and recognition of qualifications between the Baltic and Nordic countries.
The objectives of the conference were to: Contribute to the improvement of mutual recognition of qualifications and greater transparency of the education and vocational training systems in the Nordic and Baltic countries in order to further the mobility of students and workers between these regions. Optimise the exploitation of innovative products and practices resulting from international co-operation in vocational education and training; motivate project owners for further valorisation activities; Stimulate the formation and strengthening of networks between similar actors in different countries and within the individual countries; Strengthen the integration process between the Nordic and Baltic countries; Facilitate exchange of valorisation methods and experiences between the project owners / promoters
