InnoClus II

INNOCLUS II is focused to the cluster development by specific research in fields as follows:

  • development of economic clusters (entrepreneurship environment);

  • development of integration clusters (industrial sector oriented business models);

  • development of business-aid networks (rational use of company capabilities).

Main activities:

  1. Research of development possibilities of organisation by mapping business environment. Description of enterprise and its neighbourhood. Role of supporting strictures belonging to the neighbourhood in development of competitiveness. Enterprise functions in a economic space together with governmental, jural, educational etc supporting structures. It is the main subject of the research to find out appropriate character for economic cluster to promote entrepreneurship and help in purposeful, rational and progressive decisions. Corresponding topic has been discussed in EML Forum on 8th June 2005 at Laulasmaa SPA Conference Center (see EML Newsletter no. 161, June 2005.a ).

  2. Development of integration cluster. Enterprise has to be in co-operation with different business chain elements (management, logistics, manufacture). One possibility to increase productivity and timely organisation of work is optimisation of knowledge supply for manufacturers and contractors. The business-aid network is considered mainly   from viewpoint of different participators as matching grid of different expectations and ambitions

  3. Investigation and analysis of sectoral networking, targeted to description and analysis of technological capabilities of enterprises, allowing to gain:

  • economy in enterprise resources;

  • rational implementation of technological resources;

  • increasing of flexibility in execution of orders;

  • rational implementation of human resources;

  • shortening deadlines of order execution;

  • assuring certain quality.
